PENDING LAND USE REVIEW
The City of Bend will hold a public hearing
before the Hearings Officer on Tuesday,
May 10, 2022 at 6 P.M. in the Deschutes
Services Building (Barnes Sawyer Rooms)
at 1300 NW Wall Street, Bend, OR. This
application will be processed in accordance
with BDC 4.1.400 Type III Applications.

Your agency is receiving this notification so that you may provide comments to the City of
Bend Planning Division for consideration in the staff recommendation or administrative land
use decision for this application. In order to be considered in the staff recommendation or
administrative decision, comments must be received by May 1, 2022 and must reference the
project number. Please provide specific development criteria, standards, fees, and any other
requirements your agency may have which are applicable to this request. Please let us know if
you wish to be a party to the record for this decision, or if you would like to receive a
notification when the land use decision is issued.
You will likely receive a similar notice for this public hearing from Deschutes County. This
public hearing will be held jointly between the City and the County by the same Hearings
Officer in the same public hearing; however, separate decisions will be issued for each
jurisdiction. This application is part of a pilot program for urban growth boundary expansion for
affordable housing under House Bill 4079.
The application, plans, documents, and other evidence submitted by or on behalf of the
applicant can be viewed via the Online Permit Center Portal on the City of Bend website at
www.bendoregon.gov/permitcenter. Open the Portal and select the Application Search link
under the Planning Division header, then enter the project number in the search bar to find the
project. Copies can also be obtained at a reasonable cost from the City of Bend Permit
Center, City Hall, 710 NW Wall Street, Bend, Oregon. If you have questions or need help to
access the project via the Online Permit Center Portal, please contact the Staff Reviewer listed
above, or call (541) 388-5580 and choose Option 3 for the planner on duty.
