ORDINANCE NO. 85-004
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. Regular Board of County Commissioners' Meetings.
The Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon,
shall meet for the transaction of County business on each
Wednesday of each month at 9:00 o'clock a.m. in the Deschutes
County Courthouse Annex, except that the meeting on the fourth
Wednesday of each month shall be held at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the
Deschutes County Courthouse Annex. Said meetings shall consti-
tute the regular meetings of the Board of County Commissioners.
Section 2. Work Sessions and Department Head Meetings. The
Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, shall
meet in work session on each Monday of each month at 10:00
o'clock a.m. and on the first through the fourth Wednesdays of
each month at 1:30 o'clock p.m. in the Deschutes County Court-
house Annex. Wednesday work sessions shall be reserved for
Department Head meetings as follows:

Section 3. Special Meetings. The Board of County Com-
missioners may meet at other times and places as may be called by
the Chairman or two members of the Board.
Section 4. Notice of Special Meetings. Unless notice is
waived by all members of the Board, no meeting of the Board shall
be held unless notice of the time and place of the meeting is
given at least twelve (12) hours in advance of the meeting.
Nothing in this Section shall be construed to conflict with ORS
192.610 to 192.690 relating to the required notice for public
meetings.
Section 5. Repeal. Ordinance No. 83-052 and Ordinance No.
83-062 are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Emergency. This Ordinance being necessary for
the immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety, an
emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance takes effect
on March 1, 1985.
