Fund; Limiting Expenditures;
and Authorizing Investments.
ORDER NO. 85-028
WHEREAS, ORS 271.510 to 271.540 authorizes the County to
acquire and dispose of industrial facilities; and
WHEREAS, ORS 275.310 authorizes the deposit of funds gener-
ated from the sale and lease of industrial facilities into a
special fund called the "Industrial Development Revolving Fund";
and
WHEREAS, monies in the Industrial Development Revolving Fund
may be expended for engineering, improvement, rehabilitation,
construction, operation or maintenance, in whole or in part,
including preproject planning costs of any development project
authorized under ORS 271.510 to 271.540 and 280.500 relating to
the acquisition and disposition of industrial facilities for
manufacturing or other industrial production, agricultural devel-
opment or food processing, aquac'bltural development or seafood
processing, development or improved utilization of natural re-
sources, convention facilities and trade centers, transporta-
tion or freight facilities, and other activities that represent
new technology or types of economic enterprise the County govern-
ing body determines are needed to diversify the economic base of
the County; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That there is hereby created in the Deschutes
County Budget a special fund designated as the Industrial
Development Revolving Fund of Deschutes County.
Section 2. That monies within the Industrial Development
Revolving Fund shall only be disbursed in accordance with ORS
275.318(3).
Section 3. That the Treasurer is authorized to invest any
balances within the Industrial Development Revolving Fund of
Deschutes County.
