COUNTY COUNSEL
Rick Isham, County Counsel, presented a breakdown on salaries
from three fund sources. He also requested that an Assistant
Counsel and Office Assistant III be added to his department.
Commissioner Maudlin stated that the funding from the EDA Grant
would not occur until October or November; therefore, he suggest-
ed that the proposed planner salary in the Industrial Development
Revolving Fund be reduced to $20,000 and allocate the remaining
$10,000 to professional services under the County Counsel General
Budget.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
John Anderson, Director of Community Development, stated that the
B.P.A. Grant in the amount of $20,000 would be deleted from the
resources section of the budget bringing the department total to
$680,491.
Professional Services have been reduced to $16,267 and Materials
and Services have been reduced to $145,784. The department total
is $970,189.
Mr. Anderson also pointed out that Line Item "April Photos"
should be "Aerial Photos" and "BOCC Station" should be "Base
Station".
COUNTY LIBRARY
Ralph Dellamarter, County Librarian, presented the budget and
requested an addition of an Office Assistant III and Page Help to
be included.
There were no other significant changes in the Library budget.
COUNTY ASSESSOR
Postponed until Monday, June 3 at 4:30 p.m.
Meeting was adjourned at 3:05 p.m.
