WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has designated
certain property as surplus property and of no further need to
the County; and
WHEREAS, such property may be offered for sale to the public
by auction; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has considered
such action; now, therefore,
BE IS RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the property listed in Exhibit "A ",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, is
hereby declared surplus property of the County.
Section 2. That the property listed in Exhibit "A" be
offered for sale at public auction on September 21, 1985, at
10:00 o'clock a.m. at the Deschutes County Search and Rescue
yard, 1506 N. E. 1st Street, Bend, Oregon.
Section 3. That Dennis Turmon, a licensed and bonded
auctioneer, is hereby designated the auctioneer for the purposes
of said sale.
Section 4. That all items listed in Exhibit "A" are to be
sold with reserve and "as is" and with all faults. Reserves (min-
imum bid prices) shall be listed and delivered to the auctioneer
prior to the offering of any item being sold.
Section 5. The terms of the sale of all items is cash or
personal check, and all property must be removed from County
premises within 72 hours of the sale. Any item purchased by
personal check in an amount greater that $100.00 shall not be
transferred to the purchaser until the personal check has been
processed and honored by the issuer's financial institution,
unless the personal check is replaced with a cashier's check or

cash. Any person desiring to replace a personal check with a
cashier's check or cash shall declare such intent when presenting
a personal check. The cashier's check or cash shall be delivered
to the Director of Administrative Services, Courthouse Annex, no
later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 1985.
Section 6. Notice of sale, marked Exhibit "B ", attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, shall be pub-
lished at least two times in a newspaper of general circulation
within Deschutes County.
Section 7. A receipt for all items sold shall be given to
the purchaser, and a copy retained by the County. A bill of
sale, in the form as shown in Exhibit "C ", attached hereto and by
this reference incorporated herein, shall be used for all
vehicles.
