WHEREAS, Deschutes County has entered into an agreement -wi A
the State of Oregon to provide Veterans Service activities far x"
residents of the County; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate the grant reimburse-
ments income and other income for the new program prior to
expenditure; and
WHEREAS, it is also necessary to transfer appropriations
from General Fund Operating Contingency to provide the difference
between the amount of the grant and the Department's budget, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following appropriation be made within
the Veterans Service Officer Department within the Deschutes
County General Fund as shown below:
VETERANS SERVICE OFFICER DEPARTMENT
Personal Services $4,070.00
Materials and Services 5,430.00
Transfers 200.00
TOTAL: $9,700.00
Section 2. That $7,275.00 shall be appropriated as grant
funds pursuant to ORS 294.326(2) and $2,425.00 shall be trans-
ferred from 01 -45 -5000, General Fund Operating Contingency, to
the Veterans Service Officer Department, as follows:

Materials and Services 4,072.50
Transfers 150.00
