THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 of Order No. 86-021 is amended to read
as follows:
"Section 1. That a portion of Parrell Road and a
portion of China Hat Road are hereby vacated as fol-
lows:
A. That portion of China Hat Road described in Ex-
hibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein, is vacated to J. L. Ward
Construction Company.
B. That portion of Parrell Road described in Exhibit
"B", attached hereto and by this reference incor-
porated herein, is vacated to J. L. Ward Construc-
tion Company.
C. That portion of Parrell Road described in Exhibit
"C", attached hereto and by this reference incor-
porated herein, is vacated to James C. Ince.
D. That portion of Parrell Road described in Exhibit
"D", attached hereto and by this reference incor-
porated herein, is vacated to Ralph E. Wheatcraft.
E. That portion of Parrell Road described in Exhibit
"E", attached hereto and by this reference incor-
porated herein, is vacated to James C. Ince."

A portion of China Hat Road as described in that deed recorded in
Volume 340, Page 144 of the deed records in the office of County
Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon and being more precisely
described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section 20 of Township 18
South of Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian; thence South
010 00' 58" West 42.12 feet along the west line of said Section
20 to a point on the easterly right of way line of U.S. Highway
97; thence South 270 02' 54" West 118.47 feet along the easterly
right of way of U.S. Highway 97 to the POINT OF BEGINNING; said
point being the intersection of the southerly right of way of the
existing China Hat Road with the easterly right of way of U.S.
Highway 97 and marked with a 5/8 inch diameter iron rod with a 2
inch aluminum cap; thence North 720 02' 54" East 8.24 along the
southerly right of way of the existing China Hat Road; thence
South 440 39' 29" East 114.85 feet; thence 197.06 feet along the
arc of a 3967.00 foot radius curve to the left (long chord bears

5/8 inch diameter iron rod with a 2 inch diameter aluminum cap
which marks a point of curvature on the southerly right of way of
the existing China Hat Road; thence along the southerly right of

733.00 foot radius curve to the right (long chord bears South 400
49' 42" East 170.43 feet) to a 5/8" diameter iron rod with a 2"
diameter aluminum cap which marks a point of tangent on the
