1P AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PxoRERTr r 1:
TO THE CITY OF SISTERS
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City(b 5'i ftk��;► Oregon
a consent to annexation by the land owner who owns all of the
land representing all of the assessed value of real property in
the area hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, ORS 222.125 provides that the legislative body of a city
need not call or hold an election in the City or hold a hearing
when all of the owners of land in the territory consent in
writing to the annexation of their land in the territory, and
file a statement of consent with the City; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Sisters feels that
annexation is in the best interest of the City and the area to be
annexed is completely surrounded by property within the City
boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the zoning established by Deschutes County on the
property to be annexed is consistent with the City Comprehensive
Plan and that the City should continue the County Zone
designation for said annexed area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SISTERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. - Annexation Area.
The following described contiguous territory completely
surrounded by property within the City of Sisters boundary is
hereby proclaimed to be annexed to the City of Sisters, Oregon:
See attached EXHIBIT "A" and made a part hereof as though wholly
incorporated herein.
Section 2. - Record.
The City Recorder shall submit to the. Secretary of the State of
Oregon a copy of the this Ordinance and a copy of the Statement
of Consent of the landowner and the territory annexed.
The City Recorder shall also send a description by meets and
bounds or legal subdivision of the annexed territory within 10
days of the effective date of the annexation to the Deschutes
County Assessor and the Deschutes County Clerk.

Section 3. - Zoning.
The zone designation for the territory being annexed and
described in this Ordinance shall be continued as a zone
designated by Deschutes County, Oregon, said zone
being 1� P_ The designated zone shall continue until
change by appropriate zone change procedures.
Section 4. --Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall be effective and in full force and effect 30
days after its passage by the Council and approval of the Mayor
of the City of Sisters.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Sisters this 1
day of November, 1986.

Legal Description
Trowbridge Triangle
A parcel of land located in the NE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 15 South,
Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian, and which is more particularly
described as:
Start at the Northeast corner of said Section 9; thence
South 000 05' 05" East 992.69 feet; thence North 89° 48' 25"
West 2092.76 feet to a 5/8" iron rod on the westerly right
of way line of the McKenzie --Bend Highway (US 20): thence
North 38° 09' 30" West 147.52 feet along the highway right
of way to a 5/8" iron rod which`is the true point of
beginning; thence northwesterly 488.55 feet along said
right of way line of the McKenzie -Bend Highway to a 3/4"
iron rod; thence South 00° 04' 15" West 327.35 feet; thence
South 890 55' 45" East 379 feet to the true point of
beginning.
