Amendments to the Agenda Chair Prante read aloud the amendments to the agenda, stating that amendment #2 is postponed. 2. Award of Longevity Pins to County Employees KEYPUNCHED Tom McIntyre CDD 10 years `SAN 26 1987 Jack Smith P/W 10 years Chair Prante awarded the pins and congratulated the employees on their years of County service. 3. Possible Signature of Joint Operating Plan by the Deschutes REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 1/14/87 PAGE 1 VOL 8.'LPQE 541 National Forest Daryl Davidson explained that this is the standard contract at $17.37/hr. and provides for patrols of the high lakes areas. Possible Signature of Marine Board Contract Daryl Davidson explained that this covers the high lakes and Deschutes river, patroling for violations. Possible Appointment of Dick Carlson and Brenda Kincaid to the Budget Committee Commissioner Maudlin explained that Dick Carlson will serve for one year completing the unexpired term of Jack Tate, and Brenda Kincaid will serve for three years. Consideration of Personal Services Contract with Centurv West Engineering Corporation Scott Freshwaters stated that this contract is for asbestos testing as part of the hazardous waste program. He stated that he estimated the cost at approximately $995, but that has changed since the County may purchase the Bend Hardware Building. He further stated that this contract is not to exceed $1400.
