WHEREAS, Resolution No. 86-056 provided for a hearing for
the exchange of property between Deschutes County and Dixon and
McClellan, an Oregon partnership; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held on Wednesday, October 15,
1986; and
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 requires that the Board of County
Commissioners authorize the exchange of lands after hearing by
Order; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the property described as:
owned by Dixon and McClellan, an Oregon partnership, and the
property described as:

A parcel of land situate in a portion of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 29, Township 15 South, Range 13 East
of the Willamette Meridian, City of Redmond, Deschutes
County, Oregon, being a portion of a parcel of land
recorded in Book 115, Page 1963, Deschutes County
Official Records, more particularly described as fol-
lows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section
29, the initial point; thence South 00* 411 500 West
along the East line of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said
Section 29, 432.50 feet (cited in said deed as South
00* 371 East) to the East right of way line of State
Highway, U.S. No. 97, being 50.00 feet from the center-
line, and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 34*
511 00" West along said right of way line, 53.44 feet
to the West line of the East 30.00 feet of said NE 1/4
of the NE 1/4; thence South 34' 511 000 West along said
right of way line, 300.00 feet; thence South 55* 091
00" East normal to said right of way, 239.77 feet to
the East line of said NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4; thence
North 00* 411 50" East along said East line, 427.09

A parcel of land situate in a portion of Government Lot
6 of Section 28, Township 15 South, Range 13 East of
the Willamette Meridian, City of Redmond, Deschutes
County, Oregon, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section 28, the
initial point; thence South 00' 411 50" West along the
West line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 28, 432.50 feet
to the Southeast right of way line of State Highway,
U.S. No. 97, being 50.00 feet from the centerline of
said highway; thence South 34* 511 000 West along said
Southeast line, 53.44 feet to the West line of the East
30.00 feet of the NE 1/4 of Section 29; thence South
34* 511 000 West along said Southeast line, 300.00
feet; thence South 55* 091 000 East normal to said
Southeast line, 239.77 feet to the line common to said
Sections 28 and 29 and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence South 00* 411 50ff West along said common line,
811.29 feet to the Northwest right of way line of
Burlington Northern (Oregon Trunk) Railroad, being
50.00 feet from centerline of said railroad; thence
211.22 feet along the arc of a 5679.65 foot chord
definition curve concave Northwest of said right of way
forming a central angle of 02' 071 51" and a long chord
bearing North 26* 411 45ff East, 211.21 feet; thence
North 25* 371 50" East along said right of way, 468.35
feet; thence North 55* 091 00" West, 350.47 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING,
owned by Deschutes County, are of equal value.
Section 2. That the exchange of such property is in the
best interests of the County.
Section 3. That the exchange of the property described in
Section 1 of this Order is authorized and the execution and
delivery of the necessary deeds of conveyance relating to the
exchange of property authorized by this Order shall occur in
escrow.
