Also present was Rick Isham, County Legal Counsel. 1. AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA KEYPUNCHED There were no amendments to the agenda. MAY 8 1987 2. RADIO TRANSMISSION SUBLEASE AGREEMENT MOTION: Commisssioner Maudlin made a motion to approve the signature of the consent of radio transmission sublease agreements for KBND/KLRR. Commissioner Prante seconded. VOTE: MAUDLIN: Yes PRANTE: Yes THROOP: Yes 3. SIGNATURE OF ORDER NO. 87-039 MOTION: Commissioner Maudlin made a motion to approve the signature of Order No. 87-039, authorizing County Legal Counsel to issue insurance settlement checks. ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE CONTRACT MOTION: Commissioner Throop made a motion to authorize chair signature of the maintenance contracts with Montgomery Elevator Company. Commissioner Maudlin seconded. JUVENILE JUSTICE CONSORTIUM MOTION: Commissioner Maudlin made a motion to approve signature of the Intergovernmental Agreement for Centraland Eastern Oregon Juvenile Justice Consortium. STATE GRANT FOR HEALTH DEPARTMENT MOTION: Commissioner Throop made a motion to authorize chair signature of the Health Department's state grant. Commissioner Maudlin seconded. VOTE: THROOP: Yes MAUDLIN: Yes PRANTE: Yes 8. REQUEST FOR REFUNDS The Board approved the weekly request for refunds from the Community Development Department by concensus. 9. WEEKLY WARRANT VOUCHERS MOTION: Commissioner Maudlin made a motion to approve the weekly warrant vouchers upon review. Commissioner Throop seconded. VOTE: MAUDLIN: Yes THROOP: Yes PRANTE: Yes 10. TIMELINE FOR PURCHASE OF EMULSIFIED ASPHALT The Public Works Department is requesting immediate approval of their timeline for purchasing emulsified PAGE -2- BOCC MINUTES: 4/29/87 VOL asphalt.
