July 22, 1987
Chair Prante called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. Board
members in attendance were Lois Bristow Prante and Dick Maudlin.
Also present were Richard Isham, County Legal Counsel, and Karen
Green, Assistant Legal Counsel.
1. MENTAL HEALTH SUBCONTRACT WITH OPPORTUNITY FOUNDATION
MAUDLIN: I move signature of the Mental Health
Services subcontract with the Opportunity Foundation.
PRANTE: Second.
VOTE: MAUDLIN: YES

2. MODIFICATION TO 1987-89 INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
This was modification #1 to the 1987-89 Mental Health
Services Intergovernmental Agreement with the State of
Oregon to provide a biennium increase of $102,241 cost
of living to contractors.
MAUDLIN: I move signature of modification #1 to the
agreement.

3. AGREEMENT WITH DESCHUTES COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION
This item was postponed for one week.
4. PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH CENTRAL OREGON CLAIMS
PRANTE: I will entertain a motion to sign the
personal services contract between Deschutes County and
Central Oregon Claims.
MAUDLIN: So moved.

5. FINANCIAL SEGREGATION FOR VINCE AND DEBRA BATHA
Commissioner Prante asked Legal Counsel to write a
cover letter for the financial segregation agreement to
clearly specify that this was only a financial
partition and not a legal land partition creating a
separate legal lot.
PRANTE: I will entertain a motion to sign the
financial segregation agreement for Vince and Debra
Batha.
MAUDLIN: So moved.
PRANTE: Second.

6. LIOUOR LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATIONS
PRANTE: We have liquor license renewals for the
Sunshine Quik Stop, Hook, Wine & Cheddar, Food Value,
Terrebonne Market, Riverwoods Country Store, Food 4
Less, and Vic's Tavern. I will entertain a motion to
sign the liquor license renewal applications.
MAUDLIN: So moved.

7. SIGNATURE OF LAPINE SEWER EASEMENT
This item was postponed for one week in order for the
documentation to be corrected.
8. ORDER NO. 87-054. TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS
PRANTE: I will entertain a motion to sign Order No.
87-054, transferring appropriations.

10. FINAL MYLAR FOR FAIRWAY VILLAGE CONDOMINIUMS III
