An Order Directing Transfer
of Property to the State of
Oregon, Military Department.

ORDER NO. 87-074
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may
transfer property to another governmental body after hearing; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on November 4, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners determined that
Deschutes no longer needed certain property for public use; and
WHEREAS, no objections to the transfer of the property were
expressed at said hearing; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the property described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, be
transferred to State of Oregon, Military Department, without
consideration.
Section 2. That a Bargain and Sale Deed transferring said
property to State of Oregon, Military Department, in substan-
tially the form as set forth in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 23, Township
15 South, Range 13 East of the Willamette Meridian, lying east-
erly of the East boundary of the Redmond Municipal Airport
(Roberts Field) and being the Easterly 1337.8 feet, more or less,
of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 23, Township 15 South,
Range 13 East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County,
Oregon.
Excepting therefrom the following described parcel:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 23; thence
Southerly along the East line of said Section, 1086 feet, more or
less; thence leaving said section line South 60' 311 000 West
1540 feet, more or less, to a point on the East boundary of the
Redmond Municipal Airport (Roberts Field); thence Northerly along
said boundary 1845 feet, more or less, to the northeast corner of
said Airport property, said point also being on the North line of
said Section 23; thence Easterly 1337.8 feet, more or less, to
the Northeast corner of said Section 23, said corner being the
point of beginning and terminus of this description.

Oregon, Grantor, conveys to STATE OF OREGON, MILITARY DEPARTMENT,
Grantee, the following described real property:
That portion of the Northeast one-quarter of Section
23, Township 15 South, Range 13 East of the Willamette
Meridian, lying easterly of the East boundary of the

property ceases to be used for public purposes, it shall auto-
matically revert to Grantor.
This instrument will not allow use of the property described
in this instrument in violation of applicable land use laws and
regulations. Before signing or accepting this instrument, the
person acquiring fee title to the property should check with the
appropriate city or county planning department to verify approved
uses.
The true consideration for this conveyance is none.
