MINUTES
DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
March 23, 1988
Chairman Maudlin called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. Board
members in attendance were Dick Maudlin and Lois Bristow Prante.
Also present was Rick Isham, County Legal Counsel.
1. REJECTION OF DIESEL TRUCK BIDS
Due to the fact that only one bid was received for the
diesel truck, the Board decided to reject all bids and to
research why response was not greater.
PRANTE: I'll move rejection of bids for all diesel trucks.
MAUDLIN: Second.
VOTE: PRANTE: YES
MAUDLIN: YES

2. WARRANTY DEEDS FOR REED MARKET PROJECT
Before the Board was signature of warranty deeds for rights-
of-way on the Reed Market Road project and a request to
approve and sign all deeds associated with this project as
they came in.
PRANTE: I move that we authorize signature of warranty
deeds for Reed Market Road as they are presented to the
Board.
MAUDLIN: Second.

3. RESOLUTION NO. 88-017
Before the Board was signature of Resolution No. 88-017, a
resolution authorizing signature of checks for workers
compensation claims by employees of Gates, McDonald.

auhtorizing signature of workers comp claims.

4. EXHIBIT "D" FOR CENTRAL OREGON RADIO AMATEURS
Before the Board was a request from the Central Oregon Radio
Amateurs to temporarily locate a VHF radio repeater on
Awbrey Butte. Exhibit "D" contained a description of the
equipment.

ment; #8, appointment of James Ramey to the River Forest
Acres Special Road District; #9, final mylar for Awbrey
Butte Homesites Unit V; #10, approval of weekly warrant
vouchers, totaling $168,442.18; A-1, signature of Resolution
No. 88-018, appropriations transfers; #A-2, signature of
Order No. 88-023, budgeted cash transfers. Item #9 was
removed and postponed for one week
