Deschutes River Woods. Mr. Russell had not removed all of
the solid waste items on his property as he had been asked
to by the Deschutes County Planning Division. Code
Enforcement Officer Bill Gibson stated that property was
posted, a notice was published in the newspaper, and a
certified letter sent to Mr. Russell. Some of the items on
the property had been removed or "fixed up". Tires had been
put on the motorhome, so it was not clear whether this would
be a solid waste nuisance. If the vehicle was running, it
would not fall under the solid waste category. Legal
Counsel suggested that the Board continue the public hearing
for 60 days to allow for additional evidence.
The public hearing was continued to Wednesday, October 5,
