Chairman Maudlin called the meeting to order at 10:04 a .m. 13,
members in attendance were Dick Maudlin and Lois Bristow Prante.
Also present were Karen Green, Assistant Legal Counsel and Larry
Rice, Director of Public Works.

ROAD SANDING AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF BEND
Before the Board was signature of an interagency agreement
with the City of Bend to exchange the sanding of roads and
street in each other's jurisdiction.
PRANTE: I would move approval of the interagency agreement
with the City of Bend.
MAUDLIN: Second.

RESOLUTION 88-085 VACATION OF ALLEY IN THE PLAT OF LAIDLAW
IN TUMALO AND ENGINEER'S REPORT
Before the Board was signature of Resolution 88-085, accepting
a petition to vacate the alley in Block 29 in the plat of
Laidlaw in Tumalo and declaring the Board's intent to vacate
the road.
MAUDLIN: I would entertain a motion for acceptance of
consideration of Resolution and the engineer's
report.
PRANTE: So move.
MAUDLIN: Second.

ORDER 88-082. SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR VACATION OF
ALLEY IN THE PLAT OF LAIDLAW IN TUMALO
Before the Board was signature of Order 88-082, setting the
date of February 15, 1989, at 10:00 a.m., for a public hearing
to consider the vacation of the alley in Block 29, located in
the Plat of Laidlaw in Tumalo.

4. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 89-002, AMENDED SNOW AND ICE PLAN
Before the Board was signature of Resolution 89-002, adopting
amendments to the Snow and Ice Plan after its annual review.
PRANTE: I would move adoption of revised snow and ice plan.
MAUDLIN: I would second the motion.

5. CONSERVATION EASEMENT
Before the Board was acceptance of a conservation easement
from Juanita Dovolis and Holdie Partridge.

6. LEASE FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY ESD
Before the Board was signature of a lease for the Deschutes
County Education Service District for 5,496 square feet of
office space in the County building located at 1340 NW Wall
Street, Bend, and 11 paved parking spaces located in the
Deschutes County parking lot lying directly south and east of
the premises.

7. RESOLUTION 88-088,_ DELEGATING BOARD AUTHORITY

delegating Board authority to approve plats, partition maps
and liquor licenses to Dick Maudlin, Chairman, on December 30,
1988.

8. BARGAIN AND SALE DEED TO THE PARK PROPERTY OWNERS' ASSOCIATION

Owners' Association, Inc. for $3,000.00.
