Reeves Resort Tracts, C.W. Reeves Resort Tracts North Addition, Anderson Acres 1st Addition, Anderson Acres 2nd Addition and Anderson Acres 4th Addition, Deschutes County, Oregon; Describing the Roads to be Improved; Designating Where the Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Referring this Resolution to the County Engineer for Investigation of the Proposed Improvements. RESOLUTION NO. 89 -012 0095 0608. WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of a portion of Meadow Lane from North Drive to Dyke Road and Dyke Road from Meadow Lane to Howard Lane in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve these roads; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 89 -012 MICROMMED MAR - 1 1;389 0095 0609 Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a portion of Meadow Lane from North Drive to Dyke Road and Dyke Road from Meadow Lane to Howard Lane to Deschutes County Rural Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are Meadow Lane from North Drive to Dyke Road and Dyke Road from Meadow Lane to Howard Lane. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization - normal mobilization costs incurred in preparation of the work. 2. Traffic Control - signs and flaggers will be provided to warn, safeguard, protect, guide and inform the public and the workers. 3. Subgrade - a minimal amount of earthwork will be required to construct subgrade. There will be some construction required to provide proper drainage. 4. Base - placing, shaping, compacting and fine grading of base will be required. A six (6) inch depth of compacted cinder base will be utilized. The finished width shall be thirty -two feet measured between the edge of shoulders. 5. Paving - the paving will be an 0 -9 Asphaltic Penetration Macadam (Oil Mat). The pavement will be twenty -four (24) feet in width. 6. Engineering and Administration - County expenses in preparation of plans and specifications, inspection, surveying, accounting and payment collection and other incidental costs required for Bancroft Bonding. 2 - RESOLUTION NO. 89 -012 0095 0610 Section 4. The roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Rural Local Road Standards. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625.
