WHEREAS, on the 4th day of October, 1989, the Board of
County Commissioners held a hearing in the Deschutes County
Administration Building, Bend, Oregon, on the issue of whether or
not a certain Husky type dog owned by Chris Lillebo engaged in
the killing, wounding, injuring or chasing of livestock; and
WHEREAS, any dog not under the control of its owner or
keeper found chasing livestock not on the property of such owner
or keeper shall be prima facie deemed to be engaged in killing,
wounding or injuring livestock; and
WHEREAS, Les Hamilton offered testimony before the Board of
County Commissioners and the Board having considered the evidence
and testimony, and being fully informed in the premises; and
WHEREAS, the Board finding that a certain gray and tan Husky
type dog owned by Chris Lillebo while on the premises of Charlene
Pond and not under the control of its owner on or about September
25, 1989, engaged in the wounding of livestock; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the certain gray and tan Husky type dog
owned by Chris Lillebo in the possession of the Deschutes County
Humane Society Shelter be killed in a humane manner.
Section 2. That the recording secretary cause to be mailed,
by certified mail, a true copy of this order to Chris Lillebo,
14981 Buggywhip, Sisters, Oregon 97759.
