WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community DdV41bpi6efit -Depart-
ment applied for a road name change pursuant to Deschutes
County's Uniform House Numbering and Road Naming System Ordi-
nance, No. 89-010, to change the name of 56th Place, located in
Township 15 South, Range 12 E.W.M., Section 13, to 55th Place;
and
WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Development Depart-
ment has reviewed the proposed name change and approved it
pursuant to Ordinance No. 89-010; and
WHEREAS, all public notices required to be given under
Ordinance No. 89-010 regarding the proposed name change have been
given; and
WHEREAS, the appeal period for appealing the Community
Development Department's approval has expired; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 89-010 requires that road name
changes be established by order of the Board of County Commis-
sioners; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the name of 56th Place be changed to 55th
Place, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein.
Section 2. That the Community Development Department take
such further steps as are required to ensure that the road is so
identified for all purposes.
