"IDEL A Resolution Initiating Proceedings to Improve Certain Dedicated Roads Known as Lynch Lane, Lynch Court and N.W. 25th situated in Cinder Butte Estates West, First Addition, Deschutes County, Oregon. Describing the Roads to ' * be Improved; Designating Where the Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Referring * this Resolution to the County Engineer for Investigation of the Proposed Improvements. RESOLUTION NO. 90 -063 WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of Lynch Lane, Lynch Court and N.W. 25th situated in Cinder Butte Estates West, First Addition, in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve these roads; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve Lynch Lane, Lynch Court and N.W. 25th situated in Cinder Butte Estates West, First Addition, to Deschutes County Rural Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution is Lynch Lane, Lynch Court and N.W. 25th situated in Cinder Butte Estates West, First Addition,. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization - normal mobilization costs incurred in preparation of the work. 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 90 -063 /Tel GJ �' 01 M 081' 7 2. Traffic Control - signs and flaggers will be provided to warn, safeguard, protect, guide and inform the public and the workers. 3. Shoulder Preparation - Clearing and reshaping of the shoulders will be required to provide an adequate shoulder width. There will be some minor construction of ditches to provide drainage. 4. Blade Patching - The existing paving will require blade patching to repair damaged area within the project limits. 5. Chip Seal - The existing paving will be cleaned and a chip seal consisting of 0.45 gal /sy of CRS -2 Emulsified Asphalt covered with 25 lb /sy of 1/4 -10 rock will be placed. The pavement will be twenty -four (24) feet in width. 6. Engineering and Administration - County expenses in preparation of plans and specifications, inspection, surveying, accounting and payment collection and other incidental costs required for Bancroft Bonding. Section 4. The roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Rural Local Road Standards. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the investigation required under ORS 371.625.
