WHEREAS, on or about August 2, 1990, Deschutes Count�;

Sheriff's Deputy Cynthia Komurka took into custody for 4--., —
ment at the Central Oregon Humane Society shelter a cert adplt
gfi�female Black Labrador and a certain female black and li ag,
dog described to be of mixed Black Labrador and Husky breecP",kept
by Kenneth and Marla Hall, pursuant to a complaint sworn t&by
Eugene and Mary Lou Patterson that said dogs had engaged in
chasing their llamas; and
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of August, 1990, the Board of
County Commissioners held a hearing in Hearing Room A in the
Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Bend, Oregon, on the
issue of whether said dogs engaged in the killing, wounding,
injuring or chasing of livestock; and
WHEREAS, any dog not under the control of its owner or
keeper found chasing livestock not on the property of such owner
or keeper shall be prima facie deemed to be engaged in killing,
wounding or injuring livestock; and
WHEREAS, Sheriff's Deputy Cynthia Komurka, Eugene Patterson,
Mary Lou Patterson and Kenneth Hall offered testimony at the
hearing before the Board of County Commissioners and the Board
having considered the evidence and testimony, and being fully
informed in the premises; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the above-described dogs kept
by Kenneth and Marla Hall while on the premises of Eugene and
Mary Lou Patterson and not under the control of their owner or
keeper on or about July 31, 1990, engaged in the chasing of
livestock, to wit: the Patterson's llamas; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the certain dog described as an adult
female Black Labrador owned by Kenneth and Marla Hall

possession of the Central Oregon Humane Society Shelter be killed
in a humane manner.

Section 2. That the certain dog described as a female black
and light tan dog of mixed Black Labrador and Husky breed owned
by Kenneth and Marla Hall in the possession of the Central Oregon
Humane Society Shelter be killed in a humane manner.
Section 3. That the recording secretary cause to be mailed,
by certified mail, a true copy of the Order to Kenneth and Marla
Hall, 62490 Eagle Road, Bend, Oregon 97701.
