RESOLUTION NO. 90 -082 is CO? 23 P912: 0 Y CL; MICROFILMED SEP Z7 1`3 3t WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County Commissioners declare its intention to exchange land by proper resolution; and WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiv- ing objections to the proposed exchange of contingent future interests in land; and WHEREAS, Deschutes County, the Ray Johnson Post #44, American Legion, Department of Oregon, hereafter known as the American Legion, and the City of Redmond intend to conduct a three -way exchange of future contingent interest; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer to the American Legion a reversionary interest it holds on property situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, State of Oregon, described as: The North half (N 1/2) of Lot Ten (10), and all of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block Sixty -seven (67) of the original townsite of the City of Redmond, accor- ding to the official plat thereof now on file in the office of the County Clerk, of Deschutes County, Oregon. As consideration for said transfer, the American Legion agrees to transfer to the City of Redmond a reversionary interest it holds on the real property situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, State of Oregon, described as: Blocks Five (5), Six (6), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) of Redmond Townsite Company's Second Addition to the City of Redmond, according to the official map and plat thereon filed in the office of the County Clerk of Deschutes County, Oregon. 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 90 -082 104 " 1280 As condition for said transfer, the City of Redmond agrees to transfer to Deschutes County a reversionary interest it holds on the real property situated in Deschutes County, Oregon, described as: Commencing at the West quarter (W 1/4) corner of Sec- tion 16, Township 15 South, Range 13 E.W.M., the ini- tial point; thence N 00° 01' 00" E along the line common to said Section 16 and Section 17, Township 15 South, Range 13 E.W.M., 112.00 feet to a 30.07 -foot Westerly extension of the southernmost property line, bearing N 85° 02' 10" E continue 30.07 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 85° 02' 10" E along said southernmost property line - 72.83 feet to the south- east property corner; thence bearing N 17° 05' 53" E - 203.38 feet to a point; thence bearing N 56° 11' 51" E - 564.27 feet to a point; thence bearing north - 34.78 feet to the northeast property corner; thence bearing S 89° 36' 45" W - 192.32 feet to a point; thence bear- ing S 89° 38' 47" W - 417.80 feet to the northwest property corner; thence bearing S 00° 01' 00" along the line common to the east right -of -way of Nineteenth Street and the westernmost property line - 548.80 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
