OCT 1 81990 ORDER NO. 90-119 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90-082 provided for a hearing for the exchange of contingent future interests between Deschutes County, the Ray Johnson Post #44, American Legion Department of Oregon, and the City of Redmond; and WHEREAS, said hearing was held on October 3, 1990; and WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 requires that the Board of County Commissioners authorize the exchange of lands after hearing by Order; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That the properties described in Section 1 of Resolution No. 90-082, marked Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, are of equal value. Section 2. That the exchange of such properties is in the best interests of the County. Section 3. That title to said properties be reviewed and approved by Deschutes County Legal Counsel. Section 4. That upon review and approval of title by Deschutes County Legal Counsel, the exchange of contingent future interests as referenced is hereby authorized. DATED this day of 00, 1990. Deschutes County intends to transfer to the American Legion a reversionary interest it holds on property known as the Legion Hall and situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, described as: The North half (N 1/2) of Lot Ten (10), and all of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block Sixty-seven (67) of the original townsite of the City of Redmond, accor- ding to the official plat thereof now on file in the office of the County Clerk, of Deschutes County, Oregon. The American Legion intends to transfer to the City of Redmond a reversionary interest it holds on the real property known as Ray Johnson Park and situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, described as: Blocks Five (5), Six (6), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) of Redmond Townsite Company's Second Addition to the City of Redmond, according to the official map and plat thereon filed in the office of the County Clerk of Deschutes County, Oregon.
