WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County
Commissioner declare its intention to exchange land by proper
resolution; and
WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiv-
ing objections to the proposed exchange of land; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County intends to exchange land with
Leonard Downs, William W. Durfee and Rachel Robin as tenants in
common; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer the
real property described as:
A parcel of land located in the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of
Section 20 of Township 15 South, Range 13 East,
Deschutes County, Oregon, being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast one - sixteenth corner of
said Section 20; thence North 89° 12' 49" East 30.00
feet; thence North 00° 23' 48" West 30.00 feet to the
Southwest corner of Parcel No. 3 of City of Redmond
Major Land Partition #81 -1; thence continuing North 00°
23' 48" West 280.31 feet along the east Right -of -Way of
S.W. 23rd Street to the Point of Beginning; thence
North 89° 02' 48" East 230.00 feet; thence North 00°
23' 48" West 30.00 feet; thence South 89° 02' 48" West
230.00 feet; thence South 00° 23' 48" East 30.00 feet
along the east Right -of -Way Line of S.W. 23rd Street to
the Point of Beginning; and
That portion of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4)
of Section Twenty (20), Township Fifteen (15) South,

Range Thirteen (13) East of the Willamette Meridian,
City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, bounded as
follows:
Beginning at a point South 00° 23' 48" East, 347.00
feet and North 89° 02' 49" East, 30 feet from the
Northwest corner of said SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4; thence
North 89° 02' 49" East, 230.00 feet; thence South 00°
23' 48" East, 75.00 feet; thence South 89° 02' 48"

The land to be transferred by Leonard Downs, William W. Durfee
and Rachel Robin, as tenants in common, is described as follows:

Range 10, East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes
County, Oregon, lying South of the Deschutes River.
That portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter Section 3, Township 21 South, Range 10 E.W.M.,
Deschutes County, Oregon, lying South and East of the
Deschutes River, being all that portion on the East
side of the river.
Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objec-
tions to the above land trade will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Wednesday December 5, 1990, at the Deschutes County Juvenile
Justice Building, Bend.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give
notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of
this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in
"The Bulletin" once each week for four consecutive weeks prior to
the date of such hearing.

of two tax lots located on the east side of 23rd Street, between
Pumice and Quartz Streets in Redmond.
The property being transferred to Deschutes County consists
of three parcels along the east bank of the Deschutes River and
west of Silver Fox Drive, northwest of LaPine.
Any person may appear and make objections to the proposed
exchange.
