of Deschutes County to Transfer Real
Property to the City of Redmond for
Public Purposes, Setting a Time and
Place for Hearing Objections Thereto
and Providing Notice.

WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may
transfer surplus real property to another governmental body by
proper resolution and hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redmond has requested that the County
transfer to it the County's interest in certain surplus real
property without consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the
City of Redmond, a governmental body in the State of Oregon, will
use said property for a public purpose; and
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that said transfer shall only
be made upon notice and after hearing; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. The Deschutes County intends to transfer real
property described as:
Portion of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 15
South, Range 13 E.W.M., Tax Lot 101, lying in the
canyon.
Description of a portion of a parcel of land described
in Deschutes County Deed Records in Vol. 248, Page 759,
said portion lying easterly of a canyon rim bisecting
said parcel, located in a portion of the SW 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of Section 16 of Township 15 South, Range 13
E.W.M., City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the SW 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 (SW 1/4 NW 1/4) of Section 16, Township 15
South, Range 13 E.W.M.; thence N 89° 34' 30" E along
the north line of said SW 1/4 NW 1/4 - 432.80 feet;
thence S 00° 01' W - 330.01 feet to the south line of
the north 330.00 feet of said SW 1/4 NW 1/4 and to the
north line of a parcel of land described in Deschutes
County Deeds Vol. 248, Page 759, and the true Point of

north lines - 200.00 feet to the base of a canyon rim;
thence S 37° 36' 35" W - 381.60 feet to the intersec-
tion of the base of said canyon rim with the west line
of said SW 1/4 NW 1/4; thence S 00° 01' W along said
west line - 30.00 feet to the south line of said parcel
recorded in Vol. 248, Page 759; thence easterly along
said south line - approximately 432.80 feet to the east
line of said parcel; thence N 00° 01' E along the east
line of said parcel - 327.99 feet to the Point of
Beginning; EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion conveyed to
Deschutes County for road purposes, recorded May 2,

acres, subject to all existing easements and right -of-
way over and across the above - described parcel of land.

canyon.
Description of a portion of a parcel of land described
in Deschutes County Deed Records in Vol. 248, Page 759,
said portion lying westerly of a canyon rim bisecting
said parcel, located in a portion of the SW 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of Section 16 of Township 15 South, Range 13
E.W.M., City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the SW 1/4 of the

Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objec-
tions to the above transfer will be held on Wednesday,
February 6, 1991, at the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Build-
ing, 1128 N. W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon at 10:00 a.m.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give
notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of
this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in
"The Bulletin" once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to
the date of such hearing.

On Wednesday, February 6, 1991, at 10:00 a.m. in the Juvenile Justice
Building, 1128 N. W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will hold a hearing on a land transfer
between Deschutes County, Oregon, and City of Redmond, a governmental body
in the State of Oregon. The land to be transferred by Deschutes County to
City of Redmond is described as follows:
