RESOLUTION NO. 91 -002 r at WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may transfer surplus real property to another governmental body by property resolution and hearing; and WHEREAS, the City of Redmond has requested that the County transfer to it the County's interest in certain surplus real property without consideration; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the City of Redmond, a governmental body in the State of Oregon, will use said property for a public purpose; and WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that said transfer shall only be made upon notice and after hearing; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer real property described as: PARCEL 1 That portion of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Town- ship 15 South, Range 13 E.W.M., City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, bounded as follows: Beginning at a point South 00° 23' 48" East, 522.31 feet and North 89° 02' 49" East, 30 feet from the Northwest corner of said SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4; thence North 89° 02' 49" East, 230.00 feet; thence South 00° 23' 48" East, 105.00 feet; thence South 89° 12' 49" West, 230.00 feet; thence North 00° 23' 48" West, 105.00 feet to the point of beginning. The property is located on the northeast corner of 23rd Street and Quartz Avenue in Redmond. 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 91 -002 106 0059 PARCEL 2 The East one -half (E 1/2) of Lot Four (4), Block Three (3), Ranchway Acres, Deschutes County, Oregon. Except- ing therefrom the northerly 40.00 feet. Also excepting therefrom the southerly 129.97 feet of the easterly 137.72 feet. The East twenty (20) feet of the West one -half (W 1/2) of Lot Four (4) Block Three (3) Ranchway Acres, Deschutes County, Oregon. The property is located on the west side of 23rd Street between Reindeer and Salmon Avenues in Redmond. PARCEL 3 The East one -half of Lot One (1), Block Three (3), Hillcrest Addition, Deschutes County, Oregon. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objec- tions to the above transfer will be half on Wednesday, February 13, 1991, in the conference room of the Deschutes County Administration Building, 1130 N. W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, at 10:00 a.m. Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in 2 - RESOLUTION NO. 91 -002 "The Bulletin" once each week the date of such hearing.
