ORDER NO. 91-012
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may
transfer real property not needed by the County to another
governmental body after a hearing; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on February 13, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that
Deschutes County no longer needs certain real property for public
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that the
City of Redmond is a governmental body of the State of Oregon and
will use certain real property for a public purpose; and
WHEREAS, no objections to the transfer of said real property
were expressed at said hearing; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County's interest in the real
property described as:
PARCEL 1
That portion of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Town-
ship 15 South, Range 13 E.W.M., City of Redmond,
Deschutes County, Oregon, bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point South 00° 23' 48" East, 522.31
feet and North 89° 02' 49" East, 30 feet from the
Northwest corner of said SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4; thence
North 89° 02' 49" East, 230.00 feet; thence South 00°
23' 48" East, 105.00 feet; thence South 89° 12' 49"
West, 230.00 feet; thence North 00° 23' 48" West,
105.00 feet to the point of beginning.
The property is located on the northeast corner of 23rd
Street and Quartz Avenue in Redmond.
PARCEL 2
The East one-half (E 1/2) of Lot Four (4), Block Three

(3), Ranchway Acres, Deschutes County, Oregon. Except-
ing therefrom the northerly 40.00 feet. Also excepting
therefrom the southerly 129.97 feet of the easterly
137.72 feet.
The East twenty (20) feet of the West one-half (W 1/2)
of Lot Four (4) Block Three (3) Ranchway Acres,
Deschutes County, Oregon.
The property is located on the west side of 23rd Street
between Reindeer and Salmon Avenues in Redmond.
PARCEL 3
The East one-half of Lot One (1), Block Three (3),
Hillcrest Addition, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Subject to: (1) covenants, conditions and restric-
tions, as contained in instrument recorded July 19,
1966, in Book 149, Page 434, Deed Records, addendum
agreement recorded September 14, 1966, in Book 150,
Page 251, Deed Records, and re-recorded December 11,
1967, in Book 156, Page 232, Deed Records; and (2)
easement, including the terms and provisions thereof,
affecting the portion of said premises and for the
purposes stated therein, as granted to the public,
recorded November 28, 1967, in Book 156, Page 124, Deed
Records.
PARCEL 4
The West half of Lot One (1), Block Three (3),
Hillcrest Addition, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Parcels 3 and 4 are located in an undeveloped subdi-
vision on the south side of Salmon Avenue between 36th
and 37th Streets in Redmond.
be transferred to the City of Redmond, the true consideration of
which shall be the use of a portion of said property for public
purposes, pursuant to ORS 271.330.
Section 2. That a bargain and sale deed be executed and
delivered transferring said property to the City of Redmond.
