That a hearing be held on Wednesday, May 29, 1991, at 10:00 a.m., in the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Center, 1128 N.W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, to determine if the area described in the petition and on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and hereby incorporated by reference, would be benefited by the restrictions set forth in Chapter 9.08 Deschutes County Code. Section 2. A public hearing regarding the designation of a certain area within Deschutes County where the discharge of firearms is to be prohibited will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 1991, at 10:00 a.m. in the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Center, 1128 N.W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon. 2. The boundaries of the proposed district are generally described as falling within the boundaries of the following platted subdivisions: Valley Ridge Acres (all additions), Spring River Acres (all except the Second Addition), Deschutes River Recreation Homesites (all units west of the Deschutes River), Oregon Water Wonderland (only that portion west of the Deschutes River), Sun Dance (all phases), Stage Stop Meadows (all phases, including those portions replatted as River Meadows), and Deschutes Pines II, more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto. 3. The purpose of the proposed district is to prohibit the firing or discharge of any weapon which acts by force of explosive, except as provided in Section 9.08.030 Deschutes County Code, within the area designated as a restricted area pursuant to Section 9.08.080 Deschutes County Code. 5.
