9-1. DESCHUTES COUNTY GENERAL OBLIGATION JAIL BONDS.
QUESTION: Shall Deschutes County be authorized to issue up to $9,500,000 of general obligation
bonds for jail facilities?
SUMMARY: This measure authorizes Deschutes County to issue up to $9,500,000 of bonds to
acquire property, finance jail and related facilities and to pay related costs. County will build jail
cells to lock-up a minimum of 100 additional convicted criminals. New jail facilities will eliminate
