1992-07473-Resolution No. 92-018 Recorded 3/12/1992REVIEWED LLGt COUNSEL BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,,99REGON A Resolution Declaring Certain Vehicles Surplus and Directing Disposition. * * 92- 07473 RESOLUTION NO. 92 -018 0109 0506 WHEREAS, two certain vehicles, one being described as a 1973 Chevrolet Tractor, County No. 3 -222, VIN No. CPT323V321231, Oregon License Plate No. E178878, and the other being described as a 1983 Penn Trailer, County No. 3 -223, VIN No. PV9332447D1T15712, Oregon License Plate No. E178879, both owned by Deschutes County and operated by the Deschutes County Adult Field Service are no longer needed by Deschutes County; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Adult Field Service has received quotes for from two local used car dealers as indicated in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has designated certain the vehicles as surplus property and of no further need to the County; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds it to be in the public interest to sell the vehicles herein described; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has considered such action; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That the vehicles herein described, are hereby declared surplus property of the County. Section 2. That the vehicles herein described be offered for sale from the Adult Field Services, Knott Landfill, office location, and not be sold for less than $2,000.00 for the 1973 Chevrolet Tractor, and not less than $1,500.00 for the 1983 Penn Trailer. Section 3. That the vehicles herein described are to be sold "as is" and with all faults. Section 4. The terms of the sale of each vehicle is cash, cashier's check. Purchaser may pick up title and keys at the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners' office at 1130 N.W.
