1992-15543-Order No. 92-042 Recorded 5/13/1992REVIEWED ► 3,)jJ sz�=ss�3 ECAC COUNSEL BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGI An Order Directing Transfer of Real * Property to the City of Redmond to be Used Exclusively for Public Purposes. * r` Olt;?'"i ,' ORDER NO. 92-042 0118—" er-166 WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may transfer real property not needed by the County to another governmental body after a hearing; and WHEREAS, a hearing was held on May 13, 1992, pursuant to Resolution No. 92-032; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that Deschutes County no longer needs certain real property for public purposes; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners find that the City of Redmond is a governmental body of the State of Oregon and will use certain real property for a public purpose, specifically airport expansion; and WHEREAS, no objections to the transfer of said real property were expressed at said hearing; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That Deschutes County's interest in the real property described as: A tract of land containing 150.0 acres, located in the North Half (N �) of Section 27, and the North Half (N h) of Section 28, Township 15 South, Range 13 East, Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point at the West Quarter (W 4) of Section 27; thence following the West line said Section 27, N 00°16'00" E - 809.25'; thence on a line 1250' Southeasterly and parallel with the centerline of Redmond Municipal Airport Runway 4-22, N 60031'00" E - 1831.04'; thence S 89°47100" E - 2633.09'; thence due South 1716.47' to the East-West centerline of Section 27; thence Westerly along said centerline N 89°47'00" W - 4230.79' to the point of beginning. Subject To: All easements, restrictions, record and those common and apparent on the 1 - ORDER NO. 92-042 (5/13/92) and rights-of-way of land; 0.18-0367 be transferred to the City of Redmond, the true consideration of which shall be the continued use of said property for airport related public purposes, pursuant to ORS 271.330. Section 2. That a bargain and sale deed be executed and delivered transferring said property to the City of Redmond, subject to a reversionary interest of Deschutes County should said property cease to be used for public purposes.
