RESOLUTION NO. 92-058
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may transfer
surplus real property to another governmental body by proper resolution
and hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Central Oregon Park and Recreation District has
requested that the County transfer to it the County's interest in
certain surplus real property without consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the Central
Oregon Park and Recreation District, as a governmental body in the
State of Oregon, will use said property for public purpose; and
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that said transfer shall only be
made upon notice and after hearing; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer real
property described in Exhibit "A," herein, attached and incorporated by
this reference.
Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections
to the above transfer will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 1992, at
the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Hearings Room "A," 1128
NW Harriman, Bend, Oregon, at 10:00 a.m.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners
shall give notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section
2 of this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit "B,"

attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in The
Bulletin once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the date of
said hearing.

ON TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CENTRAL OREGON PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT
BY DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
On Wednesday, August 19, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. in Hearing Room A of
the Juvenile Justice Building, 1128 NW Harriman, Bend, Oregon, will
hold a hearing on a land transfer between Deschutes County, Oregon, and
the Central Oregon Park and Recreation District, a governmental body in
the State of Oregon. The land to be transferred by Deschutes County to
Central Oregon Park and Recreation District is generally described as
follows:
That property lying generally north and east of the Deschutes
River, south of the right-of-way of Lower Bridge Road and
generally west of Eagle Rock Subdivision, all within sections 15
and 16, Township 14 South, Range 12 East of the Willamette
Meridian, more particularly described in volume 269, page 1635,
Real Property Records, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Said property is located along Lower Bridge Road, running upstream
from Lower Bridge.
Any person may appear and make objections to the proposed
transfer.
