ORDER NO. 93-087 C� CEV E`, COUNTY, OREGON •s WHEREAS, by its Order No. 93-085 the Board of County Commissioners approved a petition requesting that certain real property, described in Exhibit 1 to said Order, be annexed to the Rural Fire Protection District No. 2 and ordered that a final hearing on said annexation be noticed for April 7, 1993 and held on that date; and WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was duly published, but showed an incorrect legal description; and WHEREAS, there is insufficient time in which to correct the notice and have it re -published in accordance with ORS 198.730 prior to the April 7, 1993 hearing date; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That the final hearing regarding the subject annexation, commonly referred to as the Boulet Annexation, into Rural Fire Protection District No. 2 is hereby continued until April 28, 1993, at 10 a.m. in the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Room A, 1128 NW Harriman, Bend, Oregon. Section 2. That all interested persons may appear and be heard. Section 3. That upon conclusion of the final hearing, the Board will enter its final order for annexation to the district, unless written requests for an election are filed at or before the hearing by resident voters within the district numbering not less than 15 percent of the registered voters or 100 registered voters, whichever is the lesser number. 1 - ORDER NO. 93-087 (4-7-93) ' F Section 4. A public hearing regarding a petition proposing to annex territory to the Rural Fire Protection District No. 2 (Boulet Annexation), will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 1993, at 10 a.m. in the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Room A, 1128 NW Harriman, Bend, Oregon. 2. The boundaries of the proposed Boulet Annexation to Rural Fire Protection District No. 2 are described in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. 3. The purpose of the proposed annexation is to provide fire protection services for the inhabitants of the territory to be annexed. 4. All interested persons may appear and be heard. Upon conclusion of the final hearing, the Board will enter its final order annexing the territory to the district, unless written requests for an election are filed at or before the hearing by resident voters within the district numbering not less than 15 percent of the registered voters, or 100 voters, whichever is the lesser number.
