Board members present were Tom Throop, Nancy Pope Schlangen, and Barry Slaughter. Also in attendance were Rick Isham, County Counsel; Paul Blikstad, Planner; Tom Blust, County Engineer. 1. CONSENT AGENDA Consent agenda items before the Board were: 1) consideration of out-of-state travel request for Stephen Young, a child and family therapist; 2) signature of Order No. 93-245, naming Cluster Cabin Lane; 3) signature of Order No. 93-146, changing the name of School House Drive to School House Road; 4) signature of Order No. 93-147, changing the name of Hashknife Drive to Hashknife Road; 5) signature on a declaration of a dedication for a public roadway; 6) signature of Order No. 93- 128, for the sale of certain real property acquired by Deschutes County; and 7) signature of a letter regarding Deschutes County drought status. PUBLIC HEARING: CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 93-018, AMENDING TITLE 19 OF THE COUNTY CODE TO ESTABLISH BICYCLE, PEDESTRIAN AND TRANSIT REQUIREMENTS Before the Board was Ordinance No. 93-018 amending Title 19 of the County Code to establish bicycle, pedestrian and transit requirements. Chair Throop opened the public hearing. There being no public testimony, the public hearing was closed. SCHLANGEN: I move first and second reading of Ordinance No. 93-018 by title only.
