Chapter 15.04.060, Electrical Code - Adopted, Building and Construction Codes, of the Deschutes County Code is amended to read as described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance takes effect on its passage. A certain book or publication, a copy of which is on file with the county clerk, marked and entitled, State of Oregon Electrical Specialty Code, and NFPA 70 National Electrical Code, [1990]1993 Edition for commercial structures and NFPA 70A National Electrical Code, 1993 Edition for one and two family dwellings and their accessory structures, hereinafter referred to as the "electrical code" is adopted in its entirety as the electrical code for the unincorporated areas of the county, for regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation, erection, addition, repair, relocation, replacement and maintenance of electrical service, wiring, equipment, special occupancies, conditions, communications systems and other specified electrical application.
