ORDER NO. 93-186
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 93-081 provided for a hearin c or 'the
exchange of property between Deschutes County and R6hid"r A.
Richardson and Lois Richardson; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held on September 22, 1993; and
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 requires that the Board of County
Commissioners authorize the exchange of lands after hearing by order;
now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS and finds as follows:
Section 1. That the properties described below are of equal
value:
The lands to be transferred by Deschutes County are generally
described as follows:
A tract of land located in the NE'k of Section 24, Township
18 South, Range 11 East, W.M., Deschutes County, Oregon
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the SW corner of Tax Lot 3701 as shown on CS
05875 as filed with the office of the Deschutes County
Surveyor; thence, along the West line of said Tax Lot 3701,
N 03035140" E 301.33 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence, along said West line, N 03035'40" E 328.80 feet to
the NW corner of Tax Lot 3701, thence, leaving said West
line, S 89035156" E 205.65 feet along the North line of Tax
Lot 3701; thence, leaving said North line, S 56031'47" E
102.77 feet; thence, S 49007123" W 412.62 feet to the True
Point of Beginning.
Contains 54,173 sq. ft. or 1.24 acres.
The lands to be transferred by Ronald A. Richardson and Lois
Richardson are generally described as follows:
A tract of land located in the NE4 of Section 24, Township
18 South, Range 11 East, W.M., Deschutes County, Oregon
more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the SW corner of Tax Lot 3701 as shown on CS
05875 as filed with the office of the Deschutes County
Surveyor; thence, along the West line of said Tax Lot 3701,
N 03035'40" E 301.33 feet; thence, leaving said West line,
S 49007123" W 220.97 feet; thence, 209.83 feet along the
arc of a 1,040.00 foot radius curve to the left, the long
chord of which bears S 43020'35" W 209.47 feet to a point
on the South line of Tax Lot 3700; thence, along said South
line S 89015'25" E 291.99 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Contains 47,007 sq. ft. or 1.08 acres.
Section 2. That the exchange of such property will allow
construction of Brookswood Boulevard for the common benefit of the
citizens of Deschutes County and is in the best interest of Deschutes
County.
Section 3. That the Deschutes County Public Works Department
shall complete a lot line adjustment with respect to both affected
parcels so that the aforementioned exchange may be consummated.
Section 4. That upon the successful completion of both lot line
adjustments, title to said properties shall be reviewed and approved
by Deschutes County Legal Counsel.
Section 5. That upon review and approval of title by Deschutes
County Legal Counsel, the exchange of real property as referenced is
hereby authorized.
