Roads to the City of Redmond
Pursuant to ORS 373.270.
ORDER NO. 94-053 0135 1186
WHEREAS, the City of Redmond has requested surrender of jurisdiction
of certain County roads located within the Redmond city limits; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that it is in the
public interest to surrender jurisdiction and accept the request set forth
in Resolution No. 94-12 of the City of Redmond, marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the Board of County Commissioners surrenders
jurisdiction of those roads listed in Resolution No. 94-12 of the City of
Redmond, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", to the City of Redmond.
Section 2. From and after the date of this Order, the roads listed
in Exhibit "A" shall be City of Redmond Streets.

RE: Request Transfer of Right -of -Way Jurisdiction
Dear Commissioner Schlangen,
The City Council at their March 22, 1994 regular meeting approved the attached
Resolution #94-12 requesting Deschutes County to transfer jurisdiction of a portion of
Yew Avenue to the City of Redmond. A map of that portion of Yew Avenue is
included. City Staff has been working with Rick Isham and Tom Bluth to coordinate
this request. There assistance with this project was valuable and timely.
Please let me know if there is any additional information that you need to proceed with
the transfer of this jurisdiction.

RESOLUTION NO.94-12
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDMOND REQUESTING THE TRANSFER OF
CERTAIN COUNTY RIGHT OF WAYS FROM DESCHUTES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has requested the transfer of
jurisdiction of certain County right of ways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDMOND, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section One. That the City request that Deschutes County
surrender jurisdiction of certain County right of ways described
in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto.
Section Two. That the jurisdiction of Deschutes County over the
right of ways described in Section One hereof, and for the right
of way improvements, construction, and repair shall cease upon
transfer of the property to the City of Redmond.
APPROVED by the City Council and SIGNED by the Mayor this
day of March, 1994.

A portion of the old Yew Avenue as shown on the Plat of
Wilson Road, Record of Survey CS -01370 being located in the
Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 15 South, Range 13
East, Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County Oregon, and
being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the c8nter one quarter corner of said Section
29, thence North 48 39'02" East 1872.05 feet, to a point on
the intersection of the southerly boundary of the Pilot
Butte Canal easement and the westerly right-of-way of said
old Yew Avenue;
thence along said easterly right-of-way along the arc of a
225.00 foot radius cgrve right 97.17 feet, the chord of
which bears South 14 46'24" East 96.41 feet;
thence along said Pilot Butte Canal easement North 79046'38"
East 52.97 feet; to a point on the easterly right-of-way of
said old Yew Road;
