BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON

RESOLUTION NO. 94-053
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may
transfer surplus real property to a non-profit corporation for the
purpose of providing low income housing; and
WHEREAS, the Newberry Habitat for Humanity, Inc., has
requested that the County transfer to it the County's interest in
certain surplus real property without consideration; and
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that said transfer shall only be
made upon notice and after hearing; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer real
property described as:
Lot Fourteen, (14), Block Four (4), FOREST VIEW, FIRST
ADDITION, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Section 2. That a hearing for the purpose of receiving
objections to the above transfer will be held on Wednesday, June
15, 1994, at the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, 1128
N.W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, at 10:00 a.m.

Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give
notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of
this resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in "The
Bulletin" once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the
date of such hearing.

EXHIBIT "A"
On Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at 10:00 a.m., in Hearings Room
"A" of the Juvenile Justice Building, 1128 N.W. Harriman, Bend,
Oregon, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County,
Oregon, will hold a hearing on a land transfer between Deschutes
County and Newberry Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit corporation
providing low income housing in the State of Oregon. The land to
be transferred by Deschutes County to Newberry Habitat for Humanity
is described as follows:
Lot Fourteen, (14), Block Four (4), FOREST VIEW, FIRST
ADDITION, Deschutes County, Oregon.
The parcel is located at 52454 Cascade Court, LaPine, Oregon.
The meeting location is wheelchair accessible. Materials are
available in alternate formats. For the deaf or hard of hearing,
an interpreter or assistive listening system will also be provided
with 48 hours notice. To arrange for these services or for more
information, please contact Risk Management at (503)385-3217.
Any person may appear and make objections to the proposed
transfer.
