1994-45910-Minutes for Meeting July 27,1994 Recorded 11/10/1994013'7-1358 94-45910 V' MINUTES DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ,a July 27, 1994 The Pines Meeting Room at Sunriver Acting Chair Throop called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. Board of County Commissioners in attendance were Tom Throop and Barry Slaughter. 1. SIGNATURE OF ORDER NO. 94-116, APPOINTING SUSAN MAYEA AS RECORDING SECRETARY Before the Board was signature of Order No. 94-116, appointing Susan Mayea as recording secretary. SLAUGHTER: I will approval of Order No. 94-116, appointing Susan as recording secretary for today. THROOP: I second the motion. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED SLAUGHTER: YES THROOP: YES 2. SIGNATURE OF SUBORDINATION AGREEMENT REGARDING DESCHUTES FAMILY HOUSING LIMITED PARTNERSHIP Before the Board was signature of a Subordination Agreement regarding Deschutes Family Housing Limited Partnership. Bruce White reported this was an agreement which put the County's lien in second position behind First Interstate Bank. APPROVAL OF THE COMMISSION ON CHILDREN & FAMILIES 1995/97 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Before the Board was approval of the Commission on Children & Families 1995/97 Comprehensive Plan. Scott Johnson reported the State requires the Children & Families to submit a Comprehensive biennium. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED SLAUGHTER: YES THROOP: YES CONSIDERATION OF AWARD OF TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION GRANT Before the Board was approval of the Award of Teen Pregnancy Prevention Grant. Kathy Boni reported there were six proposals presented. They narrowed it down to two. She stated the two final proposals were very good. The Board of Commission on Children & Families felt the Planned Parenthood was the best one. SLAUGHTER: I would move approval of the award of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Grant to Planned Parenthood. THROOP: Second. DISCUSSION: Commissioner Throop asked if there was a document that would be signed. Scott Johnson stated they were in the process of working on a contract. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED SLAUGHTER: YES THROOP: YES SIGNATURE OF AMENDED CONTRACT WITH J BAR J Before the Board was an amended contract with J Bar J. Scott Johnson reported this was a contract with J Bar J for Cascade Youth & Family. This contract has previously been approved and the amendment clarifies what the volunteers will be monitoring. IM 0.13'7-1360 SIGNATURE OF LEASE AGREEMENT FOR READY SET GO OFFICE SPACE Before the Board was signature of a lease agreement for the Ready, Set, Go Office space. Florence Torrigino reported the space that would be rented was located at the Rosie Bareis Campus. SLAUGHTER: I would move signature on the lease agreement for Ready, Set, Go office space. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED SLAUGHTER: YES THROOP: YES SIGNATURE OF CONTRACT BETWEEN MENTAL HEALTH AND J BAR J TO PROVIDE LEVEL 7 SERVICES Before the Board was signature of a contract between Mental Health and J Bar J to provide Level 7 services. SLAUGHTER: I would move signature on the contract between Mental Health and J Bar J providing Level 7 services. THROOP: I'll second the motion. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED SLAUGHTER: YES THROOP: YES SIGNATURE OF RESOLUTION NO. 94-08.8, CREATING "READY SET GO" FUND AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS Before the Board was signature of Resolution No. 94-088, creating a "Ready Set Go" fund and making appropriations. Chair Throop stated this creates a county fund and establishes an appropriation for the expenditure of these funds that are grants that we have received. SIGNATURE OF LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION FOR RJB'S RESTAURANT & SPORTS LOUNGE AND LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWALS FOR COHO GRILL & CATERING, TERREBONNE MINI MARKET & BP, FERGUSON'S TERREBONNE MARKET, SUNRIVER MARKETPLACE, SUNRIVER COUNTRY STORE, LA SIESTA CAFE, PAULINA LAKE RESORT, EAST LAKE RESORT, QUAIL RUN GOLF COURSE, AND LA PINE BOOK STORE Before the Board was signature of a liquor license application for RJB's Restaurant & Sports Lounge and liquor license renewals for Coho Grill & Catering, Terrebonne Mini Market & BP, Ferguson's Terrebonne Market, Sunriver Marketplace, Sunriver Country Store, La Siesta Cafe, Paulina Lake Resort, East Lake Resort, Quail Run Golf Course, and La Pine Book Store. SIGNATURE OF FINAL PLAT FOR MP -93-4, A PARTITION TO DIVIDE A 17 -ACRE PARCEL INTO TWO PARCELS IN AN RL ZONE FOR JOHN AND BARBARA MERLIN Before the Board was signature of a final plat for MP -93-4, a partition to divide a 17 -acre parcel into two parcels in an RL Zone for John and Barbara Merlin.
