ORDER NO. 94-159
WHEREAS, a special election in Deschutes County, Oregon, was held
on November 8, 1994, on the measure set forth in Exhibit 1; and
WHEREAS, the Abstract of Votes at the election, set forth in
Exhibit 2, shows that a majority of the votes cast were not in favor of
the measure; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That at the election held in Deschutes County,
Oregon, on November 8, 1994, 20,257 electors voted YES and 16,131
electors voted NO on the measure captioned "To Establish A Tax Base,"
set forth in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein, as evidenced by the Abstract of Votes, marked
Exhibit 2, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein;
and that the measure is declared to have passed.
