RESOLUTION NO. 95-017 (V'`��,? 1* IJ i rrY WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, as the governing body of the Redmond Library County Service District, Deschutes County, Oregon (District), has determined that there is a need to finance library service facilities, and to allow the District to acquire property, construct and remodel buildings, make improvements to real property, acquire furnishings, equipment, fixtures, and software and pay all costs incidental thereto; and WHEREAS, the costs are estimated to be $2,000,000, all of which are costs of capital construction or improvements or costs of issuing bonds; and WHEREAS, upon notice duly given, the Board conducted a public hearing on January 25, 1995, pursuant to ORS 451.545 and 287.055; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ACTING AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE REDMOND LIBRARY COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT, as follows: Section 1. A special election is hereby called for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the District the question of contracting a general obligation bonded indebtedness in the name of the District in a sum not to exceed $2,000,000. Bond proceeds will be used to finance library facilities and to allow the District to acquire property, construct and remodel buildings, make improvements to real property, acquire furnishings, equipment, fixtures and software, and to pay all costs incidental thereto. The bonds shall mature over a period of not more than 20 years. Section 2. The special election hereby called shall be held in the District on March 28, 1995. Section 3.
