1995-24354-Resolution No. 95-093 Recorded 7/12/1995REVIEWED 9524354 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESC ,E ON 0147--w,`"6 A Resolution Initiating Proceedings to Improve Certain Dedicated Road(s) Known as a portion of River Woods Drive and a portion of Lakeview Drive Deschutes County, Oregon; Describing the Road(s) to be Improved; Designating-' Where the Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Referring this Resolution to the - County Engineer for Investigation of the Proposed Improvements. f..11.F RESOLUTION NO. 95-093 WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of River Woods Drive and Lakeview Drive in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve this/these road(s); and WHEREAS, it appears that such road(s) should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform the required investigation for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a portion of River Woods Drive and a portion of Lakeview Drive to Deschutes County Rural Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the dedicated road(s) to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are River Woods Drive from its intersection with Baker Road to its intersection with Lakeview Drive and Lakeview Drive, from its westerly intersection with River Woods Drive to its intersection with Apache Road, as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include, but are not limited to, reconstruction of the roadway to a 25 foot wide paved road with 4 foot aggregate shoulders, and adequate drainage, as well as all related engineering, administration, mobilization and traffic control work. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with Chapter 12.48.150 of the Deschutes County Code. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the investigation required under Chapter 12.48.150 of the Deschutes County Code. DATED this day of , 1995.
