1995-39365-Resolution No. 95-130 Recorded 11/9/1995- REVIEWED 9 -39365 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES CUNT A Resolution Initiating Proceedings to Improve a Certain Dedicated Roads Known as Turquoise Road, Agate Road, Crater Road, Obsidian Road and Opal Lane in Deschutes County, Oregon; Describing the Road(s) to be Improved; Designating Where the Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Referring this Resolution to the County Engineer for Investigation of the Proposed Improvements. RESOLUTION NO. 95-130 0118-0711 in i 111: 04 - WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of Turquoise Road, Agate Road, Crater Road, Obsidian Road and Opal Lane in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve these roads; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform the required investigation for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve Turquoise Road, Agate Road, Crater Road, Obsidian Road and Opal Lane to Deschutes County Rural Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are all of Turquoise Road, Agate Road, Crater Road, Obsidian Road and Opal Lane within Deschutes River Woods Subdivision. Section 3. The roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Rural Local Road Standards. Section 4. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include, but are not limited to, reconstruction of the roadway to a 25 foot wide paved road with 4 foot aggregate shoulders, and adequate drainage, as well as all related engineering, administration, mobilization and traffic control work. 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 95-130 C MICROFI - - ED t ; .� 995 NOV 1 5 1995 01*18-07*12 Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with Deschutes County Code 12.48.150.
