RESOLUTION NO. 95-129 REVIEWRQ DESCHUTE C641A)C, WW6N - l= K 014 -Oc Qn WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of certain dedicated roads within the First Addition to Whispering Pines Estates in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve these roads; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform the required investigation for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve certain dedicated roads within the First Addition to Whispering Pines Estates to Deschutes County Rural Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are: All of.85th Street, Oriole Lane, Quail Lane, and that portion of: 85th Place from 85th Street to the westerly boundary of Lot 9, Block 9, 78th Street from Tumalo Road to the northerly boundary of Lot 4, Block 12, and 73rd Street from 78th Street to the easterly boundary of Lot 27, Block 15, lying within the First Addition to Whispering Pines Estates, Deschutes County, Oregon. Shown on the map, Exhibit "B", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include, but are not limited to, reconstruction of the roadway to a 25 foot wide paved road with 4 foot aggregate shoulders, and adequate drainage, as well as related engineering, administration, mobilization and traffic control work. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with Chapter 12.48.150 of the Deschutes County Code. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the investigation required under Chapter 12.48.150 of the Deschutes County Code.
