Wednesday, November 22, 1995
Chair Barry Slaughter called the meeting to order at 10:05-.m.
County Commissioners present were Barry H. Slaughter and Robert L.
Nipper. Also in attendance were Mike Maier, County Administrator;
Sue Brewster, Assistant County Counsel; Larry Rice, Public Works
Director; Damian Syrnyk, Planner; Brian Harrington, Planner; Kevin
Harrison, Planner; Jeff Kern, Surveyor; Ralph Delamarter,
Librarian; and Sue Stoneman, Community Relations Specialist.
CONVENE AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE REDMOND LIBRARY COUNTY

1. SIGNATURE OF PERMIT WITH CITY OF REDMOND TO ALLOW SUPPORT
POLES FOR THE LIBRARY AWNING TO BE PLACED ON CITY PROPERTY
Before the Governing Body was signature of a permit with the
City of Redmond to allow support poles for the Redmond Library
awning to be placed on city property.

District was approval of the weekly accounts payable vouchers
in the amount of $1,705.85.

6. DECISION OF WHETHER TO HEAR APPEAL A-95-20, AN APPEAL OF THE
HEARINGS OFFICER'S APPROVAL OF SP -95-60 FOR THE LAT'H'ER DAY
SAINTS CHURCH
Before the Board was a decision of whether to hear appeal A-
95-20, an appeal of the Hearings Officer's approval of SP -95-
60 for the Latter Day Saints Church.
Damian reported there was an order prepared to hear the appeal
of site plan SP -95-60. Damian recommended holding the hearing
on December 13, 1995. The testimony would be limited to two
issues.
NIPPER: I'll move that the Board of County
Commissioners for Deschutes County hear the
appeal A-95-20, an appeal of the Hearings
Officers approval of SP -95-60 for the Latter
Day Saints Church and signature of Order No.
95-163.
