VOTE: SCHLANGEN: YES SLAUGHTER: YES NIPPER: YES CONVENE AS THE DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS CONSENT AGENDA: Consent agenda items before the Board of County Commissioners were: (1) approval of $14,625 allocated to Teen Pregnancy Prevention efforts; (2) signature of minor partition plat to divide a 20 -acre parcel into two 10 -acre parcels in an MUA-10 Zone; (3) reappointment of Rabern Prante and Rita Shearer to the Local Alcohol & Drug Planning Committee; and (4) signature of Liquor License for Eagle Crest. APPROVAL OF BUSINESS LOAN TO ROUGH RIDER PRODUCTS Before the Board was approval of a business loan to Rough Riders Products in the amount of $93,000. Rough Riders Products is a specialty welding and trailer manufacturing business. The Bank of the Cascades would be in the first lien position on business equipment. Deschutes County would have a second trust deed on Mr. Smith's two properties, on in Bend and the other in Redmond. These two homes have a combined estimated market value of approximately $220,000. Deschutes County would also have a second lien position on the business equipment, which will become a first position, when the Bank of the Cascades is paid off. The proposed loan will requirement payments of $1,000 per month for the first 18 months and $1,792 for the remaining 42 months.
