Also in attendance were James Lewis, Planner; Mike Maier, County Administrator; Rick Isham, County Counsel; and Sue Stoneman, Community Relations Specialist. CONVENE AS GOVERNING BODY OF 4-H/EXTENSION COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT 1. APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR 4-H/EXTENSION SERVICE DISTRICT Before the Governing Body was approval of the purchase of a telephone system for 4-H/Extension Service District. PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO 96-022 AND 96-023, PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND ZONE CHANGE TO ADD A LANDSCAPING BUSINESS TO THE PERMITTED USES IN THE SPRING RIVER RURAL SERVICE CENTER Before the Board was a public hearing on adoption of Ordinance No. 96-022 and 96-023, proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zone Change to Add a landscaping business to the permitted uses in the Spring River Rural Service Center. James Lewis reported this was to add a landscaping business to the list of permitted uses in the Spring Rural Service Center. He stated this Rural Service Center was a limited use combining zone. Chair Schlangen opened the public hearing. Robert Claybergh, applicant, testified in support of the Hearings Officer's decision. There being no further testimony, the public hearing was closed.
