A Resolution Declaring the Intention of Deschutes County
to Make an Exchange of Real Property with Bend Furniture
Company and Summit Partners, Setting a Time and Place for
Hearing Objections Thereto and Providing Notice.

WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County Commissioners declare
its intention to exchange real property by proper resolution; and
WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiving objections to the
proposed exchange of real property; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County intends to exchange real property with Bend Furniture
Company and Summit Partners; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. The real property to be transferred by Bend Furniture Company is described
as follows:
Lot 4, Block 30, CENTER ADDITION TO BEND, Deschutes County, Oregon.
The real property to be transferred by Summit Partners is described as follows:
Lot Five (5), except the South Ten Feet (S. 10') thereof, and Lot Six (6), except
the South Twenty Feet (S. 20') thereof, all in Block Thirty (30) of CENTER
ADDITION TO BEND, Deschutes County, Oregon.

The real property to be transferred by Deschutes County is described as follows:
The Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SEl/a SEl/a) and the North
Half of the Southeast Quarter (Nl/z SEl/a) and that portion in the Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SWl/a NEl/a) lying South of the Oregon State
Highway 20, also known as the Bend Burns Highway, of Section Four (4),
Township Eighteen (18) South, Range Thirteen (13) East of the Willamette
Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the right of way of the Oregon State Highway 20,
also known as the Bend Burns Highway, and that portion as described in
instrument recorded January 6, 1987, Book 139, Page 1352, Official Records,
filed January 6, 1987, Deschutes County, Oregon.
AND EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion as described in instrument
recorded March 31, 1976, in Book 229, Page 762, Deed Records, Deschutes
County, Oregon.
Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections to the above land trade will
be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14,1996, in Hearings Room "A," of the Deschutes
County Juvenile Justice Building, Bend.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give notice of the time and place
for the hearing set in Section 2 of this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit
"A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in "The Bulletin" once each
week for four consecutive weeks prior to the date of such hearing.

On Wednesday, August 14, 1996, at 10:00 a.m. in Hearings Room "A," of the Deschutes
County Juvenile Justice Building, 1128 N.W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, the Board of County
Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will hold a hearing on an exchange of real
property with Bend Furniture Company and Summit Partners and Deschutes County.
The real property to be transferred by Bend Furniture Company is described as follows:
Lot 4, Block 30, CENTER ADDITION TO BEND, Deschutes County, Oregon.
The real property to be transferred by Summit Partners is described as follows:
