RESOLUTION NO. 96-129
WHEREAS, small business provides a diversified and stable
economy; and
WHEREAS, small business provides new jobs and opportunities for
youth; and
WHEREAS, small business provides leadership and support of
community activities; and
WHEREAS, small business provides a "can do" spirit that
encourages community development; and
WHEREAS, small business provides a people -friendly atmosphere
that enhances the quality of life in Central Oregon; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that Deschutes County Board of Commissioners
proclaim October 6-12, 1996, as Small Business Recognition Week.
