ORDER NO. 96-114
WHEREAS, a petition requesting annexation of territory into
Deschutes County Livestock District No. 3 was duly filed with the Board
of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to ORS Chapter 607, a public hearing is required
not less than 30 days after the entry of an order setting same; now,
therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the petition for annexation of territory into
Deschutes County Livestock District No. 3 be accepted. The boundaries
of the proposed territory to be annexed into said district are as set
forth in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein, and as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit 2 and by
this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2. That a hearing regarding the annexation of territory
into the district shall be held on Wednesday, November 20, 1996, at 10
a.m. in the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Room A, 1128 NW
Harriman, Bend, Oregon.
Section 3. That all interested persons may appear and be heard.
Section 4. That upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board will
enter its final order on the proposed annexation of territory into the
district.
Section 5. That notice of the hearing, as shown in Exhibit 3,
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, shall be
published in accordance with ORS 607.013(2).

NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY INTO
DESCHUTES COUNTY LIVESTOCK DISTRICT NO. 3
BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON
A public hearing regarding the proposed annexation of territory into
Deschutes County Livestock District No. 3 will be held on Wednesday,
November 20, 1996, at 10 a.m. in the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice
Building, Room A, 1128 NW Harriman, Bend, Oregon.
The boundaries of the proposed annexation are as specified in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
The proposed annexation shall be referred to as the "Lupton-Turner/Paiva
Annexation."
The purpose of the proposed annexation is to make it unlawful for livestock,
including the bovine species, horses, mules, asses, sheep, goats and swine, to
be permitted to run at large within the proposed area to be annexed.
All interested persons may appear and be heard.
The meeting location is wheelchair accessible. For the deaf or hard of
hearing, an interpreter or assistive listening system will be provided with 48
hours notice. Materials in alternate formats may be made available with 48
